Benny Lee & the Whistle Stop 5 Testimonials

Dear Benny & The Whistle Stop 5!

Just a quick note to say a huge thank you to you and your band for making our wedding night go with a swing!! Sorry our timings were so awry. We were so grateful that you managed to work around this and gave us the full set. We thought you were absolutely fantastic and I don’t think either of us sat down once you started! Even those who couldn’t dance (!) enjoyed listening. Looking forward to seeing you around Nottingham again soon, thanks again. Best wishes.

Matthew & Rebecca Brown Goosedale Banqueting, Nottingham, Sept 2009

Dear Benny & The Whistle Stop 5!

Just had to write to tell you how much we enjoyed your music on Saturday at the after-wedding celebration in the centre of London. A fantastic wedding in St Paul’s Cathedral was followed by a really swinging party set alight by you and the Whistle Stop Five ! Wow, talk about getting people going! Your range and choice of music was fantastic; each and everyone of your group was superb (clearly brilliant musicians in their own right), the vocals and arrangements were excellent and everyone got into the real "swing". You really knew what to play and what was wanted; the ‘floor’ was full throughout all your sets, a sure sign that your playing was hitting the mark. A huge compliment that you knew what volume to play at; lively and spirited but not drowning everyone out or bursting our ear drums (which less professional groups all seem determined to do!). Other people at the party were keen to book you for their events and, after Saturday, they know they won’t be disappointed with your performance for them. A fabulous evening!

Sarah & Simon’s Wedding Corney & Barrow, Paternoster Square, London. August 2009

Dear Benny & The Whistle Stop 5!

Sorry it’s took me so long to send this email, been a bit of a whirlwind since the wedding. Just wanted to say cheers for the performance, everyone had a great time, it made the night for us. Loads of people have been asking about the band so maybe you may get a few bookings in the future. Hopefully we are going to come down to Nottingham for one of your shows before Christmas.

Ricki & Nicola Reckless, Barnsley Hospital Club, August 2009

Dear Benny & The Whistle Stop 5!

Thank you all so much for making our after wedding party go with a bang last Saturday. Our guests just haven't stopped talking about you. Hannah's vocals were outstanding and you all kept the dancefloor full with your choice of songs and fantastic showmanship. Cheers again - you were awesome.

Shaun & Avril, Park Plaza Hotel, Nottingham, November 2009

Dear Benny & The Whistle Stop 5!

What can we say?! You were fantastic! As I was standing outside church greeting our guests I could hear you playing – it sounded fab! You sang beautifully during the signing of the registers and we’ll never forget our recessional music! It was unique to us and it meant so much that it was you!

Nikki & Rick, Nottingham December 2008
